Υπάρχουν ιστορίες που δεν χωρούν σε γενεαλογίες, αποτελέσματα εκθέσεων ή φωτογραφίες. Ύστερα από 25 χρόνια ζωής με τα Chow Chow, θελήσαμε να αφηγηθούμε όσα κρύβονται πίσω από τους σκύλους: τις πρώτες εκπλήξεις, τις δύσκολες αποφάσεις, τους αποχαιρετισμούς και τις στιγμές που μας άλλαξαν.

Το βιβλίο γεννήθηκε από τις δικές μας εμπειρίες. Δεν είναι εγχειρίδιο εκτροφής ούτε κατάλογος διακρίσεων. Είναι η ιστορία δύο ανθρώπων, μιας οικογένειας Chow Chow και όσων μας έμαθαν για την ευθύνη και την αγάπη.

Some stories cannot be told through pedigrees, show results or photographs alone. After 25 years sharing our lives with Chow Chows, we wanted to tell the stories behind the dogs: the first surprises, the difficult choices, the farewells and the moments that changed us.

Written from our own experience, this is not a breeding manual or a collection of show achievements. It is the story of two people, a family of Chow Chows and everything they taught us about responsibility and love.
